Synthetic images including a planetary companion surrounded by a CPD. The planet was placed at a distance of 34.3 au with a position angle of 280.4° measured east from north. The three images have similar pixel scales (4 mas px−1) and were convolved with the same beam properties of the ALMA observation (see Sect. 2.1). The colour scale is set equal to the square root of the surface density to boost the signal from the CPD. North is up, east is to the left.
