Predictions of the positions of Kleopatra’s moons in the (u, v) plane for the beginning time of expected stellar occultations in 2022–2026. Our ephemerides including tides (+) and without tides () are plotted for comparison. The projected orbital velocity (arrow) and the occultation chord (dashed line) are also indicated. If one of the alternative models is valid (Sects. 2.6, 2.7), the position of the inner moon will be somewhere in between. If chords intersecting Kleopatra are close to the inner moon, the event is very promising (see bold dates).
