Mean radial profiles for the azimuthal polarization for all R′(red) and I′(blue) band cycles from July 9, 2015, for the disk around HD 169142, plotted together with the mean of the four best cycles, shown in lighter colors. For r > 0.36″ the profiles are smoothed, and the same profiles multiplied by ten are plotted again for better visibility. For r < 0.07″ the data are dominated by residual noise from the PSF peak.
