The Galactic centre is located at X = Y = Z = 0 kpc and the Sun at X = 8.125 kpc (GRAVITY Collaboration 2018), Y = 0 kpc and Z = 20.8 pc (Bennett & Bovy 2019). In the top panel, the Galaxy rotates clockwise.
