Comparison of dipole amplitudes from the cross-matched TGSSxNVSS catalogue. For the common flux density threshold sample of TGSSxNVSS, the geometric mean was used to determine the frequency. A linear function f(ν) = A(ν/1 GHz)m is fitted to the dipole amplitudes (solid line), which results in A = (2.67 ± 0.70)×10−2 and m = −0.47 ± 0.16, with χ2/d.o.f. = 1.44.
