Stellar mass distributions for the selected samples at z = 0 of central ETGs from Horizon-AGN (magenta) and Horizon-noAGN (blue). The differences show that in the absence of AGN feedback there are fewer massive central ETGs. The existence of a small tail of massive galaxies in Horizon-noAGN, which may be a result of the lack of AGN feedback, is noted.
