ΣSFR as a function of Σb, defined as Σmol. gas + Σstellar. We explored the existence of a tighter correlation with Σb as it is a better tracer for the total hydrostatic pressure exerted by the baryonic mass. We measured a slope of 1.18 ± 0.005 with a scatter, and a scatter lower than the rSFMS and higher than the rKS.
