Prediction of the rotation-tunneling spectrum of CH2OH (final fit from this work) in the 150–350 GHz region, at room temperature (in red) and at 10 K (in cyan). Transitions measured in this work are indicated with an asterisk. The strongest transitions at low temperatures that have been measured in this work (at room temperature) are also indicated and labeled using the formalism . Intensities have been determined using the partition functions Q(300 K) = 36 239.1838 and Q(10 K) = 259.1302 determined using Pickett’s SPCAT program.
