Differences in abundances produced by the BACCHUS and ASPCAP for a control sample of ∼1000 giants belonging to the main body of the MW (halo, disc and bulge), at the same metallicity range as examined in this study. The numbers in each title of each panel indicate the peak (μ) and the standard deviation (σ) of the fitted normal distribution, showing that ASPCAP values are significantly offset from the BACCHUS ones.
