Images of the Kite at different frequencies obtained by reprocessing archival datasets. Top left: GMRT image at 610 MHz; the RMS is 120 μJy beam−1 and the resolution is 6.2″ × 4.1″; top right: VLA A+B image at 1.4 GHz; the RMS is 13 μJy beam−1 and the resolution is 1.5″  ×  1.4″. In both image the contours are at the −3, 3, 6, 12, and 24σ levels. New images at 144 MHz. Middle: robust = −0.75; the final resolution is 6.7″ × 5.6″ and the RMS is 120 μJy beam−1. The contours are at the −3, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192, 384σ level; bottom left: robust = −2; the final resolution is 4.2″ × 3.2″ and the RMS is 380 μJy beam−1. The contours are at the −3, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96σ level; bottom right: robust = −0.25; the final resolution is 12.2″ × 7.7″ and the RMS is 140 μJy beam−1. The contours are at the −3, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192, 384σ level. The surface brightness is reported in units of Jy beam−1.
