Comparison between M_ZAMS obtained in this work using hydrodynamic simulations and MCMC methods and those based on the analysis of progenitors in pre-explosion images. For cases where multiple values of M_ZAMS from pre-SN imaging exist, we take the complete range of values predicted in the literature instead of using some specific value and its uncertainties. In these cases, the central point of the initial mass is the midpoint of the range.
