Comparison between analytical and numerical estimations of the FAP for four types of covariance matrix (see Sect. 2.3) and using the HARPS time series of HD 136352. The periodogram power is computed following the definition z₁ of Eq. (4). The expectation of z₁ is one (see Eq. (B.10)).
