Properties of composite spectra of quiescent and star-forming galaxies selected according to their sSFR (separation at log10(sSFR) = − 11, see also PA18) in low- (diamonds) and high-density regions (squares). The dotted lines are for Dn4000 = 1.325 and EW[OII] = 4 Å and are shown to guide the eye. These two populations are separated in Dn4000 and EW[OII], and some environmental effects can also be found within each population of galaxies. Quiescent and star-forming populations are more clearly separated in high-density regions.
