Notes. “Type” refers to the source type; PWN = pulsar wind nebula; AGN = active galactic nucleus; SNR = supernova remnant. “Extension” specifies whether or not the source can be spatially resolved using this data set. “Publications” lists (selected) H.E.S.S. publications about the sources (usually based on larger data sets). The data sets “PKS 2155−304 (flare)” and “Off runs” are not used in this paper.
