Silicate feature of HH 250-IRS SE (middle panel) compared to spectra of enstatite (top panel) and forsterite (bottom panel). The spectra of crystalline silicates are adapted from van Boekel et al. (2005). To facilitate the comparison a constant level has been subtracted from the spectrum of HH 250-IRS SE. The solid and dotted curves in the spectra of both silicates correspond to grains of 1 and 0.1 μm, in size, respectively.
