Spitzer 24 μm (left-hand panel) and DSS-II red band (right-hand panel) images of the Bubble Nebula and its surroundings. The arrow shows the direction of motion of BD+60°2522 (marked by a circle) as suggested by the Gaia DR2 proper motion and parallax measurements (with 1σ uncertainties shown by dashed arrows). The orientation and the scale of the images are the same. A white spot in the Spitzer image is due to a saturation effect.
