CO(1-0) spectra form the IRAM 30 m telescope (red, continuous line) and from CARMA (grey shaded), together with the HI emission (blue dashed line) integrated over the entire disc of the Tadpole galaxy. The HI spectrum contains only the emission of UGC 10214 (i.e. the emission from VV 29c has been excluded as described in Sect. 2.5). The HI flux is multiplied by a factor of 15 for better visibility.
