Linear polarization maps of the nuclear region of 3C 84 at 86 GHz obtained with different polarization calibrations. The two maps were reconstructed using the D-terms obtained from CTA 102 (upper panel) and from OJ 287 (lower panel), respectively. The minimum contour level is 7 mJy beam−1.
