Mass (in log units of M⊙) distributionof the clusters with a spectroscopic redshift estimate. Red histogram: the C1 sample; blue histogram: the C2 sample. The mass data points have been derived from scaling relations based on the cluster luminosities (cf. Sect. 4.3 and Appendix F).
