Data-based model used to compute the total number of ions at a given cometocentric distance r from ROSINA and RPC multi-instrument datasets. The results are compared with two other RPC sensors (MIP and LAP), cross-calibrated with each other. In this schematic, the ionization frequencies are corrected for ROSINA–DFMS composition and include ROSINA–COPS correction factor (Gasc et al. 2017b).
