One example (position 3a, southern cavity) for KOSMA-τ PDR model continuum emission fitting the observed continuum observations (black points) of MAMBO (1.2 mm), Herschel (PACS: 70, 160, SPIRE: 250 μm), and FORCAST (19.7, 25.3, 31.5, 37.1 μm), assuming a unity beam filling factor. The error for the flux values is generally small (see Sect. 2.2). All data were smoothed to a common angular resolution of 15″. The Herschel/SPIRE 250 μm data point has a resolution of 18″.
