Survey area of ≈500 deg2 in the Leo-I group region. The squares correspond to the created 1 deg2 mosaics. The small black dots are previously known members based on their photometric properties, compiled from the Local Volume Catalog (Karachentsev et al. 2004, 2013). The large gray dots are the major galaxies in the M 96 subgroup and Leo Triplet. The red dots indicate the positions of the 36 new dwarf candidates. Open circles are confirmed foreground galaxies (<7 Mpc) taken from the LV Catalog.
