Radially-averaged Strehl ratios across the field of view of an 8 m diameter telescope, obtained by the average of 1000 simulations when applying both methods in four LGS constellations. The variance of some equally-spaced points are represented alongside. The first row shows the results for a decomposition of two layers, and second row shows the results for three layers. The line labeled as reference represents the Strehl ratio of the telescope without any correction. The maximum possible Strehl ratio for this simulation is 0.6386 across all the FoV (see Eq. (14)).
