The variance of some equally-spaced points are represented alongside. The first row shows the results for a decomposition of two layers, and second row shows the results for three layers. The line labeled as reference represents the Strehl ratio of the telescope without any correction. The maximum possible Strehl ratio for this simulation is 0.6386 across all the FoV (see Eq. (14)). In order to keep clarity, this value has not been included in the graphs
