NGVS ugi rgb colour image (left) and the VESTIGE continuum-subtracted Hα image of the dwarf spheroidal galaxy (dS0(8): Binggeli et al. 1985) IC 3578 (VCC 1684). The Hα image shows the presence of a few compact HII regions in the nucleus of the galaxy, witnessing an ongoing nuclear star forming activity.
