Parameter values for the simulations.
|Runs||θ||Initial slope||K range||Final||Final|
|3||60||0||0.03–0.42||−0.4||−0.4 & −2.1|
|4||80||0||0.13–0.45||−0.6||−1.1 & −3.1|
Notes. From left to right the columns correspond to the angle of propagation, the initial parallel spectral slope and the modulus of the wave-number followed by the final spectral slopes in parallel and perpendicular directions. The magnetic field fluctuations in the transverse direction along Ky for all simulation cases are initialized with flat spectra with and initially only the parallel spectral slopes along Kx are varied. The last two columns represent the evolved spectral slopes for each case at Ω p t = 800. The spectral slopes for strictly parallel propagation are estimated at Ωpt = 120. We should note that the spectral slopes for several cases are scale-dependent, hence multiple values are provided where necessary. See the text for more explanations.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
