Desorption rates of formamide (NH2CHO; mz = 45), expressed (ML s−1) as a function of the temperature of the surface for several exposure doses (0.15, 0.30, 0.61, 1.00, and 1.66 ML) of solid formamide on the cold HOPG surface at 40 K. The linear heating rate of the samples is 0.2 K s−1. The linear dependence of the integrated area under the TPD curves as a function of the exposure time is shown in the inset.
