Redshift coverage in the ALMA-FF observations for several bright emission lines expected from high-redshift galaxies. The horizontal black lines denote the edges of the upper and lower sidebands for the ALMA-FF frequency setup; each sideband is comprised of two adjacent SPWs. The slanted red (CO), black (Ci), orange ([NII]), and blue ([CII]) curves show the frequencies expected for each emission line as a function of redshift. The green regions represent the redshift segments over which an emission line could be detected in either sideband. The ALMA-FFs should be sensitive to galaxies with strong star formation activity at z = 0.3–3 for some CO lines, as well as normal star-forming galaxies at z ~ 4.5 for [NII]and z ~ 6 for [CII].
