Infrared transmittance spectra of H2O:SO2 = 1:2 ice mixture as deposited at T = 16 K and after 30 keV He+ ion irradiation (the given fluence corresponds to a deposited dose of 12.3 eV/16 u). We note that the broad band around 1200 cm-1 is due to more than one species, including SO3 sulfur polymers (see Table 2).
