Comparison of the Hβ line with the Mg II line in velocity space, with the underlying continuum subtracted; we used the nominal line positions, corrected for the difference in redshifts in data reduction between SALT and ISAAC/VLT; the Mg II line seems somewhat narrower, but the overall shape is similar to the shape of Hβ in this source, and the difference in the position of the centroid is qualitatively in agreement with the extension of the long-term trend observed by us during the last three years.
