Impact of dynamical friction, estimated through minimization and maximization of its effect. The overlap over large parts of the mass range suggests that its heating of the cluster might be of the same order of magnitude as the influence of stellar evolution. The simulations maximizing dynamical friction are averaged over 3 runs per mass, the data points for minimized dynamical friction correspond to one realization per mass.
