NOAA AR 10923 on November 13, 2007 with 3LPs (red) and RPPs (blue). The penumbra is asymmetric with a larger limb-ward side. It also includes regions where a more detailed inspection shows that the algorithm incorrectly identified granular regions (black and white arrows) as part of the penumbra. The white arrow points toward the center of the solar disk.
