Analysis of kink oscillation signal for slit 70 as in Fig. 3 but without the assumption of Eq. (1), i.e. the damping times τ₁ and τ₂ are fitted independently. The signal qualities of the two components τ₁/P₁ ≃ τ₂/P₂ are consistent with damping due to mode coupling.
