Comparison of size measurements derived with GALFIT for a subset of 153 (118) VUDS galaxies at 2 <z< 4.5 with available F814W and F160W (F125W) images from CANDELS. Results are split into two bands: F160W in the top panel and F125W in the bottom panel. Circles and squares refer to COSMOS and ECDFS respectively. The dashed black line shows where the two radii are equal. The symbols are color coded according to their spectroscopic redshift and the mapping is shown in the colorbar at the top of the plots. Fewer galaxies are available in the J-band comparison because there are no such data available in ECDFS.
