Notes. The coefficient a3 corresponds to the one-term cubic fit by Ball & Gizon (2014, Eq. (11, and the coefficients b-1 and b3 to their two-term combined fit (Eq. (2)). Parameters p0 and p1 are the amplitude and index of a power-law correction (Eq. (23)), as proposed by Kjeldsen et al. (2008), and s0 and s1 are the amplitude and index of the modified Lorentzian (Eq. (34)) suggested by Sonoi et al. (2015). The last parameter c corresponds to the amplitude of a scaled solar surface term, computed as in Schmitt & Basu (2015). The last row of the table gives the values found by calibrating the surface term for Model S with respect to BiSON observations.
