Detection fraction as a function of sky area covered and the distance reached in two hours is shown for nine different types of telescopes. Owing to the uncertainty in kilonova light-curve models we show the detection percentage for four kilonova absolute magnitude cases, M = −12, −13,−14, and −15. In the M = −14 and −15 cases for the 4.0 meter class telescope all sources are detectable, hence not shown.
