Left panels: intensity profiles of (blue) the 1D CODEX model o54/286100 compared to (red) the azimuthally averages intensity profiles of snapshot 68 of the RHD simulation st28gm06n06 at bandpasses (from top to bottom) 2.00 μm–2.01 μm (water vapor), 2.25 μm–2.26 μm (continuum), 2.2934 μm–2.2936 μm (CO 21), and 2.47 μm–2.48 μm (CO). Both models provide a satisfactory fit to our visibility data of o Cet obtained in October 2012. The purple dashed line indicates a UD as reference. The intensities are normalized so that the integrated flux of each curve is unity. Right panels: images of the 3D intensity maps of snapshot 68 at the same bandpasses. A squareroot color scale is used to enhance the low intensities of the extended molecular atmosphere.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
