Magnitude of Eddington bias in the Planck SZ mass proxy as a function of measured significance and redshift. Shown is the mean fractional difference between the measured mass and the true mass. Since we only consider haloes in the mass range M500> 1014 M, this is a lower limit to the true bias. Given this skewed distribution, the mean is higher than the median by up to ~50%.
