Total removed companion mass (ΔM2, in a unit of M2) as a function of the SN explosion energy for our 0.9M G/K-dwarf companion model. All parameters except the SN explosion energy are kept constant, meaning that we only change the SN explosion energy according to Eqs. (1) and (2). Thus, for a fixed initial binary separation of 5.48 R (2 amin) and a total ejecta mass of 1.4 M, different SN explosion energies of (1.0, 4.0, 6.0, 8.0) × 1051 erg are investigated. The fitting function and fitting parameters are also shown.
