Notes. DIBs near the top should be less depleted in ζ clouds (dense), the prototype of such cases being DIB λ5797.06. DIBs near the bottom should be more depleted in dense clouds and more prominent in σ clouds (diffuse), the prototype of such cases being DIB λ5780.48. Note that the uncertainties in some equivalent-width ratios are relatively high, so their placement in the sequence is uncertain. The FWHM is shown to differentiate narrow and broad DIBs.
