Accretion with heating, cooling, turbulence (Ma ~ 0.35), and e_rot = 0.3: temperature cross-section, with the velocity field overlaid. Full circularization is not possible in a turbulent environment characterized by Ta_t< 1. The recurrent chaotic collisions between the cold filaments, clouds, and the clumpy torus, cancel the angular momentum of the cold gas, leading to the rapid peaks in the accretion rate, Ṁ_• ~ Ṁ_cool.
