Examples of LVG fits to the average CO SLEDs of BzK galaxies. These particular solutions (among the large suite of acceptable ones) were chosen to have a cold component peaking at J ~ 2 and a warmer and denser component peaking at J ~ 5 (left panel) and at J ~ 7 (right panel). The captions show details of the physical parameters of each solution. Solutions peaking at higher J obviously exist and can also fit the data well.
