NGC 5128 CMDs for each of the four VLT/VIMOS CCD quadrants. We count 2365, 2816, 3100, and 3956 point sources in Quadrants 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively, within the range of magnitude 21 <I0 < 27 and color −1 < (VI)0 < 5. Corrections have been made for the aperture size, the zeropoint dependencies on color, and the extinction. The TRGB is seen at I0 ≈ 23.9. Stars above this magnitude are predominantly from the Milky Way. Note that Quadrant 4 is the closest of the 4 quadrants to the center of NGC 5128, and has the highest source density.
