Notes. Each simulation is of a stratified shearing box of size 4 × 8 × 12 located a radial distance R0 from the central protostellar object. The plasma β0 is given in the initial state (see Eq. (5)). The effective (radial) transport parameter α, the mass-loss rate due to outflows outflow, and the (dimensionless) surface magnetic stress are defined by Eqs. (8)–(10), respectively.
