Notes.

(a)

Dust velocities for sizes amin and amax, with amin = 0.1 μm.

(b)

Dust production rate derived assuming amin = 0.1 μm.

(c)

In Paper I, the maximum size computed by our dust model was multiplied by 1.5 to better match state-of-the-art hydrodynamic simulations (see Crifo et al. 2005, and references therein).

(d)

The velocity of 1-μm sized particles is 45 m s-1 and 60 m s-1 for QCO = 4 × 1027 molec s-1 and 8 × 1027 molec s-1, respectively.
