Evolution of the RS using a variable slope with redshift. The CMR is divided into two redshift bins at low (0.5 < z ≤ 0.7) and high (0.7 < z ≤ 0.9) redshift. Galaxies are colour-coded with respect to their derived SED type. The number of galaxies for a specific SED type is shown in each slice. The solid line is the best-fit to the RS adopting the slope as derived from VIPERS within the selection criteria indicated with the dotted line (see text for details).
