Notes. Total Int. is the total integrated VUV-absorption cross section in this range, Avg. is the average VUV-absorption cross section. Ly-α and LBS are the average VUV-absorption cross sections in the 120.8–122.6 nm and 132–162 nm range normalized by the photon flux. The last three columns are the VUV-absorption cross sections at wavelengths 121.6 nm (corresponding to the maximum intensity of the Ly-α peak), 157.8 and 160.8 nm (main peaks of the Lyman band system).
