UV-photon flux as a function of wavelength of the MDHL in the 110 to 170 nm range estimated with the total photon flux calculated using actinometry. The spectrum corresponds to a measurement with one MgF2 window intersecting the emitted VUV-light cone. This spectrum is the one experienced by the ice sample. The VUV-emission is dominated by the Ly-α peak (121.6 nm) and the Lyman band system.
