Also shown is the evolution of τes for galaxies plus an AGN population with a constant black hole mass MBH = 105M⊙. The hatched region represents the most tightly constrained 68% margins of τes as measured by Planck Collaboration (2014b). All four cases fall below this region and, thus, below the best fit value of 0.089.
