Erosion efficiency with respect to the cumulative mass of the projectiles. Because the projectiles are coming in from random directions, this time a larger cake with a base area of 150 × 150 μm and a height of ≈70  μm is used. Each data point depicts the average erosion efficiency after shooting in a bunch of 100 monomers. The random distribution of impact angles greatly reduces the passivation effect. At the end of the simulations roughly a quarter of the aggregate mass has been eroded.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
