The dotted vertical lines indicate the radii r = 15″, 50″, and 120″ that delimit the regions where most of the photons are created. The main contribution to the emergent flux comes from the regions indicated by the bold segments in the x-axis. In each panel, the inset shows the emergent flux towards the centre of the model, and the vertical lines indicate the velocities for which we considered the propagation along the diameter of the sphere.
